Over the past year there has been some encouraging momentum for fair pay, and it is truly time to bring the current discussions together and to bundle them! Today I therefore kindly invite you to join us in the International Pay Transparency Conference on July 28, 2021. It would be a pleasure to welcome you to this virtual conference to share international perspectives, translate them into national action and put them into daily practice.
Because in the shadow of some backsliding during the Corona pandemic, we have witnessed some remarkable developments which we urge to discuss with interested parties and experts from all over the world: Different laws on pay transparency have been decided upon, in Switzerland, France, and the United Kingdom. The European Commission published its long-awaited draft directive on pay transparency, which will make companies more accountable. And the European Court of Justice just recently ruled in favor of fair pay, especially specifying the principle of equal pay for work of equal value – an almost epic decision, if I am allowed to say so, which will have a major impact on legislation as well as on companies.
On this occasion, we have once again teamed up with EPIC, the Equal Pay International Coalition, and with the support of the Berlin office of the International Labour Organization, we will bring together international speakers and experts from all over the world, accumulating an impressive amount of fair pay expertise.
All actors and interested parties are invited to participate and exchange ideas on fair pay with our European and international leaders from states, civil society, and companies.

The International Pay Transparency Conference will take place via Zoom and will be hosted in English on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, 3 pm CEST / 9 am EST – 6 pm CEST / 12 am EST. Your participation is free of charge.
