NFBPWC-NYC invites you to join a panel discussion on Gender-Based Violence this Saturday, Dec. 10th, 3 - 4:30pm! This contribution to "THE UNITE CAMPAIGN" aims to raise awareness and help take action.

Each year, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence begins on November 25th, the International Day against Violence against Women, and ends on December 10th, Human Rights Day.

This discussion will be led by our very own Djenabou Bah. Our featured panelists: Assemblywoman Maritza Davila, Hannah Pennington, Arrizu Sirjani, Alice Gallop-West, Noel Ifeanyi Alumona, E.J. Riddle, and Veronica Sexton, all bring a unique understanding of gender-based violence to the table. They will share their experiences, take questions, and discuss steps we can collectively take to tackle this issue.

NFBPWC-NYC’s Dec. 10th panel discussion on Gender-Based violence will mark the end of this year’s “Unite Campaign”. This initiative was started by women's rights activists at the 1991 Women's Global Leadership Institute and is coordinated each year by the Center for Women's Global Leadership. Individuals and organizations use it to call for prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls throughout the world.

NFBPWC-NYC aims to increase awareness, promote advocacy, and create opportunities for discussion about challenges and solutions to Gender-Based Violence! Specifically, violence against women and girls around the world.

Join us for this very important panel discussion, December 10th 3 - 4:30pm.
